Reports also indicate that InStep topped the list under the best consulting internship segment. The other categories included career development, the quality of life, employment prospects and many more. From the rankings, it goes without saying that Instep showcased a remarkable performance.

InStep happens to be fully an international internship program and on a yearly basis it conducts its selections. It assigns the selected student a wide range of projects to work on.

This program scrutinizes the technical backgrounds of the students it selects. Those with great skills work on digital technology projects such as the Internet of things (IoT), data security and cloud computing. It also sends others into projects such as the big data, machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI).

A closer outlook

Vault says that it had to survey about 13,000 interns sometime back. According to it, these interns came from about 120 internship programs. It sought to get them to disclose all details regarding their internship experiences.

The program wanted these interns to rate their experiences in regards to career development and compensation and benefits.

Asides from that, it was also interested in their perspectives regarding the quality of life, diversity and full-time employment prospects. From there, it obtained the average of all the ratings eventually providing the overall scores for each of the programs.

The CEO of Infosys Pravin Rao opined, “Coinciding with the 20th anniversary of InStep, this recognition validates our continuous effort to nurture an ecosystem that encourages and guides young talent to realize their dreams.”
