S&P Lowers ‘Outlook’ On AMD

The Standard and Poor’s Ratings Services has declined its outlook on the Advanced Micro Devices’s speculative grade ratings to negative. The ratings suffered a lowering from a stable position based on anticipations that the earnings and cash of AMD will be constrained by the execution risks in new gaming markets and also by the weak PC markets.

The outlook has got weak despite the fact that there are expectations that the AMD will witness a two digit revenue and earnings growth later this year. This downfall is perhaps an outcome of numerous developments including the sharp and protracted declines in market shares.
