Sirius XM Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:SIRI), through its subsidiary Sirius XM Connected Vehicle Services, shall soon be joining hands with AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) to facilitate 4G LTE connectivity to the masses. This service will also facilitate the in-vehicle spectrum of the former, SiriusXM Guardian. In a few of the next year models of FCA US LLC vehicles, safety, security and convenience features shall be made available through this package. AT&T offers renowned in-cabin connectivity to the auto industry, especially the cars. Over the recent past, Sirius has been making a few deals, including the smaller ones, to diversify its portfolio.
About the SiriusXM Guardian Services
There will be a range of services included in this package, some of which include, Remote Horn and Lights, Door Lock/Unlock, Remote Vehicle Start & Roadside Assist Call. SOS services are also being offered in this service package. Through this exclusive service, a distressed caller can connect to a Sirius specialist by a press of a button. Details of the location will be sent to the specialist automatically.
Apart from these services, mobile assisted Vehicle Finder, Stolen Vehicle Assistance and Theft Alarm Notification are also included in the package. “Send and Go” feature is a unique part of the package as well. This feature allows a user’s mobile phone to directly send the location details to navigation system of the vehicle.

The latest models that will come equipped with these features include Dodge Charger, Dodge Challenger & Chrysler 300 of 2017 model.
